Washington D.C. on Jan. 20, 2009 is a hard day to describe if you weren't there. I, still at this moment, am completely speechless. Any other day, and the crowded restaurants, parks, metros, etc. would irritate the humblest of travelers, but not this day. I felt humanity was at its best. Every single person was kind, happy, excited, helpful, and most of all, filled with hope.
